As of Sept 2026, BatchData sells skip tracing on monthly plans, the smallest at $2,000 a month for 100,000 records. Skipmatch has no plan: each list is priced per matched record: $0.03 at any list size. A single list of up to 66,666 records costs less on Skipmatch than that plan's monthly price.

## The short answer

The two are priced for different buyers. BatchData's smallest skip tracing plan is $2,000 a month for 100,000 records (batchdata.io/pricing, checked 2026-09-25), so on its listed plans a smaller or one-off list still costs the monthly plan price; we found no pay-as-you-go price on that page. If you use the whole 100,000-record allowance every month, BatchData works out to $0.02 a record, below Skipmatch's $0.03.

| Service | Published price | Billed on | Subscription | Unmatched records | Minimum | Source |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Skipmatch | $0.03 (any list size) | Per matched record | No | Never charged: released from the checkout hold | 50 records | This site |
| BatchData | Self-serve skip tracing plans start at $2,000 a month for 100,000 records. | Monthly plan | Yes (monthly plan) | Not stated for the skip tracing plans | $2,000 a month plan | batchdata.io/pricingbatchdata.io/skip-tracingbatchdata.io/faq |

## BatchData's published plans

The Skip Tracing tab of BatchData's pricing page lists 4 monthly plans. The last column is what each works out to per record when the whole monthly allowance is used; use less and each record costs more.

| Plan | Price a month | Records a month | Per record, whole allowance used |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Growth | $2,000 | 100,000 | $0.02 |
| Professional | $5,000 | 300,000 | about $0.017 |
| Scale | $10,000 | 750,000 | about $0.013 |
| Enterprise | $20,000 | 3,000,000 | about $0.007 |

- BatchData was formerly known as BatchSkipTracing; batchskiptracing.com now redirects to batchdata.io.
- Its skip tracing page (batchdata.io/skip-tracing) and its FAQ (batchdata.io/faq) refer to pay-as-you-go, but we did not find a pay-as-you-go price on its pricing page. All three pages checked 2026-09-25.
- The same skip tracing page points people who want to upload a list without coding to its BatchLeads platform (batchdata.io/skip-tracing, checked 2026-09-25).

## Skipmatch's price

One price per matched record: $0.03 a record at any list size. Every record in the order is priced at that one rate. There is no subscription; prepaid credit is optional, and each order runs from 50 to 100,000 records. The quote is shown before you pay, and, if you pay by card, a hold for that amount is placed on your card at checkout; it is the most the list can cost. Minimum charge $0.50 when any record matches.

The result file returns up to 10 phones per owner, each labelled mobile, landline or VoIP, plus emails where they exist. Full pricing.

## Cost at 500, 2,500, 12,000, 40,000 and 100,000 records

BatchData's column is the smallest plan whose monthly allowance covers the list, and what that plan works out to per record if this is the only list you trace that month. Skipmatch's column is the most the list can cost.

| Records | Skipmatch, at most | BatchData plan that covers it | BatchData per record, this list only |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| 500 | $15.00 ($0.03) | Growth, $2,000 a month | $4.00 |
| 2,500 | $75.00 ($0.03) | Growth, $2,000 a month | $0.80 |
| 12,000 | $360.00 ($0.03) | Growth, $2,000 a month | about $0.167 |
| 40,000 | $1,200.00 ($0.03) | Growth, $2,000 a month | $0.05 |
| 100,000 | $3,000.00 ($0.03) | Growth, $2,000 a month | $0.02 |

## Where BatchData fits

When you use a plan's whole monthly allowance (100,000 records on Growth), BatchData costs less per record: $2,000 / 100,000 = $0.02 a record (2.0 cents), against Skipmatch's $0.03 at any list size (3.0 cents). Its larger plans work out lower still when fully used, down to about $0.007 a record on Enterprise. Use less than the allowance and each record costs more; the table above shows it list by list.

It is also built for developers: BatchData sells data at scale through an API. Skipmatch has no API today; you upload a CSV and download the result. If your volume is steady at that level every month and you want skip tracing inside your own software, BatchData fits better.

Skipmatch fits lists that vary in size or arrive now and then: each order is priced on its own, and nothing is owed between orders.

## How we checked

BatchData's terms were read from its own pricing, skip tracing and FAQ pages on 2026-09-25 and are quoted as of Sept 2026. Skipmatch's figures come from the same price ladder checkout uses. Skipmatch is one of the services compared. This page says nothing about either company's data quality or match rates. Prices change; check the linked pages before you buy.

## Questions

Q: Is BatchSkipTracing the same as BatchData?
A: Yes. As of Sept 2026, batchskiptracing.com redirects to batchdata.io (checked 2026-09-25). BatchData is the company formerly known as BatchSkipTracing, and its skip tracing is now sold on BatchData's monthly plans. It is a separate service, with separate pricing, from Bulk Skip Trace (bulkskiptrace.com).

Q: What is BatchData's minimum monthly plan for skip tracing?
A: The smallest skip tracing plan on BatchData's pricing page (batchdata.io/pricing, checked 2026-09-25) is Growth, at $2,000 a month for 100,000 records. The larger plans are Professional at $5,000 for 300,000, Scale at $10,000 for 750,000 and Enterprise at $20,000 for 3,000,000 records a month.

Q: What does 100,000 records cost per record on each?
A: On BatchData's Growth plan, $2,000 / 100,000 = $0.02 a record, if all 100,000 are used that month. On Skipmatch, one 100,000-record order is $0.03 per matched record, $3,000.00 at most. At that volume every month, BatchData's plan works out lower per record.

Q: Does BatchData sell skip tracing without a plan?
A: We did not find one. As of Sept 2026, the Skip Tracing tab of its pricing page lists four monthly plans; its skip tracing page (batchdata.io/skip-tracing) and FAQ (batchdata.io/faq) refer to pay-as-you-go, but no pay-as-you-go price is listed on the pricing page. The skip tracing page points people who want to upload a list without coding to its BatchLeads platform.

Q: Can I order once and not come back?
A: With Skipmatch, yes: there is no subscription; prepaid credit is optional. You upload a list, see the price, pay by card for that order and download the result. Prices are a flat $0.03 a record at any list size from 50 to 100,000 records. Minimum charge $0.50 when any record matches. BatchData's skip tracing is sold as monthly plans; this page does not quote its cancellation terms.
