Skipmatch charges $0.03 a record at any list size. A 5,000-record list is at most $150.00. The calculator shows the most your list can cost, the amount held on your card at checkout, with no account needed.

## What will my list cost?

Most it can cost

$30.00

$0.03 / record

We place a hold for this amount at checkout and charge only for matches when your file is delivered; records with no phone and no email are never charged, and the rest of the hold is released.

The figure is the most that list can cost, not a promise of the final charge. Checkout runs the same rounding rule and shows its quote before you pay. Minimum charge $0.50 when any record matches.

## How the price is worked out

Rates last changed 2026-10-02

Every record in the order is priced at the same rate, whatever the size of the list. The total is the row count times the per-record price, rounded down to the cent.

| Records in the list | Price per record |
| --- | --- |
| Any list size | $0.03 |

## Per row, per match or subscription

Skip tracing services bill on different bases, so the same list can cost very different amounts. What each model means for one list:

| Billing model | What you pay for | What the cost of a list depends on |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Per row (per record) | Every record you submit, found or not | The row count and the rate for it |
| Per match (per hit) | Only records that come back with contact data | How many records match, which depends on the list |
| Credits | A balance bought first; each search uses credits | Credits per search, and whether a miss uses any |
| Subscription | A monthly fee with an allowance of searches | How much of the allowance you use each month |

## Worked examples

The most each list size can cost: the hold placed at checkout.

| Records | Per record | At most |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 500 | $0.03 | $15.00 |
| 2,500 | $0.03 | $75.00 |
| 12,000 | $0.03 | $360.00 |
| 40,000 | $0.03 | $1,200.00 |

## What counts as a record

One data row of your CSV under the header row, usually one owner and one address. Fully blank rows are dropped. The quote at checkout shows the row count it priced, the per-record price and the total before you pay. An order holds 50 to 100,000 records; bigger lists split into more than one order.
