Roofing contractors use Skipmatch to put phone numbers and emails on storm-area homeowner lists. Upload a CSV with an owner name and address, and get contacts back for the homes on it.

## Who this is for

This page is for roofing contractors, roofing sales reps and storm-restoration crews who already have homes picked out and need a way to reach the people who own them. If the list has names and addresses but no working phone numbers, that is the gap skip tracing fills.

## The lists roofing contractors bring

- Storm and hail-area homeowner lists. After a hail or wind event, you pull the homes in the affected area. The list has owner names and property addresses; skip tracing adds the phones and emails you need to follow up.
- Parcel lists by neighborhood or roof age. County parcel exports filtered to older homes or a subdivision you work. Upload the owner name and address columns and get contacts back for the same rows.
- Past estimates and lapsed leads. Old quote lists where the phone number went bad. Re-run the name and address to find a current number.

## How it works

- Export your list as a CSV. One row per person, with an owner name and a complete address (street, city, state and ZIP). 50 to 100,000 rows per order. Your column names can be anything; you point each one at the right field during upload.
- Upload it and see the price. The total is shown before you pay. Skipmatch charges $0.03 a record, and you pay only for records that come back with a phone or email. Minimum charge $0.50 when any record matches.
- Download your list with contacts added. You get your own file back with up to 10 phones per person (each labeled mobile, landline or VoIP), up to three emails, and a HIT or MISS flag on every row.

See the columns in a real result on the sample file, or work out a total on the cost calculator.

## Before you call

Check the do-not-call rules before you call or text anyone on the list. Numbers in the file are not consent to contact a person, and Skipmatch does not scrub them against do-not-call lists, so that check is yours. This is general information, not legal advice.

## Questions

Q: Can I skip trace a list of homeowners in a hail zone?
A: Yes. Upload the owner name and property address for each home. Each row that has a match comes back with phones and emails; rows with nothing found are flagged MISS and not billed.

Q: What if the list only has addresses and no owner names?
A: Each row needs an owner name and an address. A parcel or county export usually has both, so start there; an address alone is not enough to trace a person.

Q: What does it cost?
A: Skipmatch charges $0.03 a record, billed only for matched records, with no subscription or monthly seat. The total is shown before you pay. Minimum charge $0.50 when any record matches.

Q: What do I need to upload?
A: A CSV with an owner name and one complete address (street, city, state and ZIP) on each row. Orders run from 50 to 100,000 rows. Your own column names are fine; you map them during upload.

Q: Can I call everyone on the list?
A: Not automatically. Check the do-not-call rules that apply to you before you call or text, and scrub the list yourself because Skipmatch does not. This is general information, not legal advice.
