Skipmatch charges per matched record: $0.03 a record at any list size. Unmatched records are never charged: the rest of the checkout hold is released on delivery, and there is no subscription and no monthly minimum. You see the exact total before you pay. What a list costs

The hold placed at checkout for a few list sizes. It is the most a list can cost. You are charged only for matches when the file is delivered: every record that comes back with no phone and no email is never charged, and how many that is depends on the list, so there is no "expected" figure here.

What counts as a match

A record that comes back with at least one phone number or email. A record with only an email is still a match. A record with no phone and no email is a miss.

Double Check (SkipSmart) is included

Double Check, powered by SkipSmart Technology, searches eligible misses by address alone after the name-and-address search. There is no extra charge for the second check: a row is billed at most once, at its normal match price. The quote and checkout hold stay the same. Results marked Owner at address may belong to someone other than the person on your list. It is on for every list order. Single searches and free starter orders are excluded.

How the hold works

We place a hold for the quoted amount at checkout and charge only for matches when your file is delivered; the rest of the hold is released. A miss is never charged. You do not have to ask, and the order page shows the hold, the final charge and the amount released.

Re-run your dead leads. Pay only for what comes back new.

Old lists are worth running again. When a list includes records you have run with us before, each of those that comes back with nothing new is not charged, the same way misses are not. A record that comes back with a phone number or email you have not had from us is marked Updated in your file and billed as a match. If any records in a new list are already in your history, the quote shows how many before you pay.

A record that has matched on your account is never billed again unless it comes back with contact information you have not received before. That holds for list orders and single searches alike.

Limits

Orders run from 50 to 100,000 records, up to 50 MB per CSV file. Bigger lists split into more than one order. No subscription and no monthly minimum; a list order is paid for on its own by card or prepaid credit. Minimum charge $0.50 when any record matches.

Single search

Single search: $0.10, charged only on a match, paid from prepaid credit ($10 minimum top-up). Buy credit once ($10 to $1,000), then search one owner at a time from your account. A search sets aside 10 cents of your credit when you place it, uses it only if the record matches, and gives it back to your balance if it does not. Prepaid credit expires 12 months after your last credit purchase, single search or credit-paid list, and unused credit is refundable on request within 90 days of purchase.

How much does bulk skip tracing cost with Skipmatch?

The price is per record: a flat $0.03 a record at any list size from 50 to 100,000 records. That is under 5 cents a record on every list. The total for the list is quoted before you pay.

Is there a minimum charge?

Minimum charge $0.50 when any record matches. Card payments cannot be charged below 50 cents, so an order whose matched records come to less than that is charged $0.50. An order where nothing is billable costs nothing.

What happens to records that do not match?

Do I pay again for records I've already run with you?

No. Once a record has matched on your account, you are never charged for it again, in a later list order or in a single search. The one exception is a record that comes back with contact information you have not received from us before: that is a genuinely new match, it is labeled Updated, and it is billed. On a list order, every record you have run with us before that comes back with nothing new is not charged, neither is any record with no phone and no email, and the rest of the hold is released. On a single search, a record you already have with nothing new costs nothing and the credit goes back to your balance. So old lists are worth re-running: re-run your dead leads and pay only for what comes back new.

Why do I need a $10 balance to run one record for 10 cents?

Card payments have a processing minimum and a fee on every charge, so a 10 cent charge to a card is not possible; Stripe, our card processor, will not take one. Instead you load $10 once, which pays for 100 single searches. You are charged 10 cents only when a record matches, and a search that finds nothing costs nothing: its 10 cents goes back to your balance. Prepaid credit expires 12 months after your last credit purchase, single search or credit-paid list, and unused credit is refundable on request within 90 days of purchase.

Is there a subscription or a credit pack I should buy instead?

No subscription. A list order is $0.03 a record, paid by card or prepaid credit, so you pay per list, per order. Single searches use prepaid credit, at $0.10 each, charged only on a match.

Does the price change with the size of the list?

No. Every list from 50 to 100,000 records is priced at $0.03 a record, and the quote shows the per-record price and the total before you pay.
