BatchData vs REISkip vs Tracerfy for skip tracing
BatchData sells skip tracing as monthly plans, REISkip prices per match and Tracerfy per credit, so the unit decides the bill. The short answer
The three bill on different units. BatchData bills a monthly plan with a set number of records; you pay the plan whether or not you use them. REISkip bills each match. Tracerfy bills credits, bought pay-as-you-go or on a monthly plan, and a normal trace uses 1 credit per hit.
On those published terms, the option that comes to least for one list is Tracerfy pay-as-you-go at 500, 5,000 and 25,000 records and Tracerfy monthly plan at 100,000 records. BatchData's smallest plan is a fixed $2,000 a month, so its cost per record falls as a month's use approaches the plan's 100,000 records.
This page compares published prices only. It says nothing about any company's data, hit rate or match rate.
What each one publishes
Each company's terms were read on its own pages on the date shown, and are quoted as of Sept 2026.
BatchData
Its pricing page (batchdata.io/pricing (opens in a new tab), checked ) says: Self-serve skip tracing plans start at $2,000 a month for 100,000 records. The Skip Tracing tab lists Growth at $2,000 a month for 100,000 records, Professional at $5,000 a month for 300,000 records, Scale at $10,000 a month for 750,000 records and Enterprise at $20,000 a month for 3,000,000 records.
Its skip tracing page (batchdata.io/skip-tracing) and FAQ (batchdata.io/faq) refer to pay-as-you-go; its pricing page lists no pay-as-you-go price. The skip tracing page points people who want to upload a list without coding to its BatchLeads platform. (batchdata.io/skip-tracing (opens in a new tab), batchdata.io/faq (opens in a new tab).) BatchData is the company formerly known as BatchSkipTracing; batchskiptracing.com now redirects to batchdata.io. More on it: Skipmatch vs BatchData and BatchSkipTracing alternatives.
REISkip
Its pricing page (reiskip.com/pricing (opens in a new tab), checked ) says: $0.15 per match on its Bulk and Volume plans, marked as introductory pricing. Custom plans on request. The minimum is 50 matches on Bulk and 1,001 on Volume, and no subscription is listed. More on it: Skipmatch vs REISkip.
Tracerfy
Its pricing page (tracerfy.com/pricing (opens in a new tab), checked ) says: $0.02 per credit pay-as-you-go; monthly plans work out to $0.010-$0.014 per credit. A normal skip trace uses 1 credit per hit and an advanced trace 2 credits per hit. Purchased credits never expire; monthly plan credits reset each billing cycle. Advanced trace $0.04 per hit; Enhanced $0.30 per hit (15 credits); Parcel (APN) trace 5 credits per hit; Phone Intelligence 5 credits per hit; DNC scrubbing 1 credit per phone. Monthly plans: Growth $700 for 50,000 credits, Scale $1,500 for 125,000, Business $3,000 for 300,000.
So a normal trace is $0.02 a hit pay-as-you-go, an advanced trace 2 credits a hit, and the monthly plans work out to $0.01-$0.014 a credit. More on it: Skipmatch vs Tracerfy and Tracerfy alternatives.
Side by side at 500, 5,000, 25,000 and 100,000 records
What one list of each size comes to on each company's published terms, computed from those terms, not typed. A plan, a match and a credit are different units, so each row states the assumption it uses. No hit or match rate is assumed: the per-match and per-hit rows read every record as a match or a hit, which is the most that list can cost there.
| Option | Assumption | 500 records | 5,000 records | 25,000 records | 100,000 records |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| BatchData | Monthly plan floor: one month of the smallest skip tracing plan whose records cover the list (Growth is $2,000 a month for 100,000 records). Records left unused that month are still paid for. | $2,000.00 (Growth) $4.00 a record | $2,000.00 (Growth) $0.40 a record | $2,000.00 (Growth) $0.08 a record | $2,000.00 (Growth) $0.02 a record |
| REISkip | $0.15 per match, reading every record as a match, so this is the most the list can cost. Bulk plan minimum 50 matches. | $75.00 $0.15 a record | $750.00 $0.15 a record | $3,750.00 $0.15 a record | $15,000.00 $0.15 a record |
| Tracerfy pay-as-you-go | Normal trace, 1 credit per hit at $0.02 a credit, reading every record as a hit, so this is the most the list can cost. | $10.00 $0.02 a record | $100.00 $0.02 a record | $500.00 $0.02 a record | $2,000.00 $0.02 a record |
| Tracerfy monthly plan | One month of the smallest monthly plan whose credits cover a normal trace of every record. Plan credits reset each billing cycle. | $700.00 (Growth) $1.40 a record | $700.00 (Growth) $0.14 a record | $700.00 (Growth) $0.028 a record | $1,500.00 (Scale) $0.015 a record |
| Skipmatch | Per matched record, one list, no plan or credits. Minimum charge $0.50 when any record matches. | $15.00 $0.03 a record | $150.00 $0.03 a record | $750.00 $0.03 a record | $3,000.00 $0.03 a record |

Minimums, subscriptions and what happens to unused credits
- BatchData: skip tracing is sold as monthly plans, from $2,000 a month for 100,000 records. The plan is the minimum. Its skip tracing page and FAQ refer to pay-as-you-go, but its pricing page lists no pay-as-you-go price. The terms we recorded do not say whether records left unused in a month carry over, so read the pricing page before counting on it.
- REISkip: no subscription is listed. The minimum order is 50 matches on the Bulk plan and 1,001 on Volume, at the same $0.15 per match, marked as introductory pricing. The terms we recorded describe no prepaid balance, so there are no credits to carry over.
- Tracerfy: pay-as-you-go credits at $0.02 each, or monthly plans from $700 for 50,000 credits. Purchased credits never expire; monthly plan credits reset each billing cycle. A minimum purchase is not stated on the pricing page as we read it.
- Skipmatch: no subscription; prepaid credit is optional; each list is quoted and paid for on its own, from 50 to 100,000 records. Minimum charge $0.50 when any record matches.
When each is the better fit
- BatchData fits a team tracing close to 100,000 records or more every month, or one that wants skip tracing through an API. At its full allowance the Growth plan works out to $0.02 a record. Its skip tracing page points people who want to upload a list without coding to its BatchLeads platform.
- REISkip fits a buyer who wants a flat per-match price with no subscription and orders of at least 50 matches.
- Tracerfy fits a buyer who is happy to hold a credit balance: pay-as-you-go credits never expire, and at steady volume the monthly plans lower the price per credit. It also publishes other trace types, such as advanced, enhanced and parcel (APN) traces and do-not-call scrubbing, each at its own credit count.
A fourth option, priced per record
Disclosure: Skipmatch runs this site, and this section is about Skipmatch. Skipmatch is one of the services compared.
On the published terms above, Skipmatch does not come to less at every size, and the table shows where. Tracerfy's pay-as-you-go normal trace, at $0.02 a hit, is below Skipmatch's price, so on a list where every record hits Tracerfy comes to less than Skipmatch at every size. At 100,000 records in a month, BatchData's Growth plan ($2,000.00) comes to less than one Skipmatch list of that size ($3,000.00). Skipmatch also does not build lists, look up single owners, or scrub numbers against do-not-call lists.
Skipmatch fits when you already have the list and want it traced without a plan or a balance:
- Price: $0.03 a record at any list size. The whole list is priced at that one rate, and the total is shown before you pay. See pricing.
- Billed: per matched record, per order; no subscription; card or prepaid credit payment.
- What you get: the file back with your columns unchanged, up to 10 phones per owner, each labelled mobile, landline or VoIP, and emails where they exist.
- Limits: 50 to 100,000 records per list. Minimum charge $0.50 when any record matches.
Calling and texting the numbers you get from any of these services is regulated, and compliance is your responsibility. This is not legal advice; read the permissible-use terms.
How we checked
Each company's terms were read from its own pricing pages on the date shown next to them and are quoted as of Sept 2026. The cost table multiplies each published unit price by the list size and floors to the cent; for a plan it takes one month of the smallest plan that covers the list. Where a company bills per match or per hit, every record is read as a match or a hit, which gives the most the list can cost; no hit or match rate is assumed for anyone. This page says nothing about any company's data quality. Skipmatch's figures come from the same price ladder checkout uses. Company names are used only to identify each service. For every tracked service in one table, see the compare page; for BatchData and Tracerfy by monthly volume, see Tracerfy vs BatchData.
